Institute

The Delegate Commission is a governing body of the Health Research Institute (Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria) of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos.

Functions

• To review the annual operational programmes and the annual activity reports of the Institute in order to be approved by the Governing Council.
• To study budgets, financial statements, and other mandatory reports.
• To evaluate the implementation and operation of the Institute's activities.
• To annually review the integration mechanisms of the different entities that make up the Institute.
• To review the Institute's management system, activities and results.
• To review the evaluation of the groups or researchers of the partner entities.
• To approve operational improvement actions proposed for the Institute.
• Any other powers delegated to it by the Governing Council.
