Group information

This is a translational research group in the study of immunological biomarkers aimed at targeted diagnosis and the development of immunomodulation strategies in the field of primary and secondary immunodeficiencies and autoimmune diseases, as well as in other immune-based pathologies, such as recurrent gestational failure of inflammatory cause, in which this group is a pioneer in Spain.

The group has established strong collaborations with national groups (Dr. Rebeca Pérez de Diego, from IdiPaz, with the group of Dr. Ángel L Corbí, from the CIB and with the Department of Immunology of the Faculty of Medicine, led by Prof. José Ramón Regueiro), and international groups (Dr. Florence Faure, Institut Curie and Dr. Matthew L Albert, Institut Pasteur) and has obtained national and EU public research projects and is involved in the elaboration of consensus of Spanish and international societies (SICAM, SEI, ESID, FOCIS).
