  • To reduce the amputation rate associated with the presence of diabetic foot ulceration.
  • To determine the risk factors associated with biomechanical alterations and limited joint mobility in the diabetic foot.
  • To analyse the relationship of peripheral vascular disease and diabetic neuropathy in the development of the diabetic foot.
  • To analyse the different types of treatment for diabetic foot osteomyelitis.
  • To determine the factors that alter the quality of life of diabetic patients with foot ulcers.
